BYDAND MEDICAL GROUP
INFORMATION DURING COVID
If you require to see a GP you must phone 01466 792116 at the phone call times of:
8.45am – 9.00am or
2.15pm – 2.30pm
Your call will be triaged by a GP or Advanced Nurse Practitioner. If you require to be seen following this they will arrange an appointment for you
When you attend an appointment we ask that you wear a face covering unless you are exempt from this.
Seating in the waiting areas is reduced to allow us to follow social distancing guidelines. If all seats are full when you attend you may be asked to wait outside until a seat becomes available.
YOU WILL NOT MISS YOUR APPOINENT IF WAITING OUTSIDE. THE CLINICAN WILL KNOW YOU ARE THERE AND YOU WILL BE CALLED IN.
Appointments can be made by phone on 01466 765001 or in person at reception.
Urgent appointments are available with the duty doctor for problems that cannot wait. The receptionist may ask you to speak to a doctor before these can be allocated.
All of our GP's routine appointments, for a period of four weeks in advance, will are available to be booked online. This service will only be for routine appointments and, should you wish to book any other type of appointment, you will need to contact the Health Centre directly.
Please note that patients who do not attend two appointments that have been booked online within a 3 month period will have Online Services temporarily disabled and will need to contact the Practice. Reauthorisation of Online accounts will be at the discretion of the Practice.

Please report to the receptionist on your arrival. We have a computerised appointments system and, if you do not book in, the doctor will not know that you are in the waiting room and you may not be called.
Please inform us as soon as possible if you are unable to attend an appointment as this will enable someone else to use it.
For intimate examinations you have the right to have a chaperone. Please ask if you wish one to be present.
Attending with multiple problems -
Please be aware, appointments are 10 minutes so GP/ANP's do not have the time to deal with more than one medical condition if you have multiple issues. Please request a double appointment.
